National Health Service (NHS) is the largest welfare system in UK

The main financial resources of NHS are from the tax revenue. NHS system is divided into two layers. The first layer is the fundamental medical service focusing on the communities, for example, General Practitioner (GP), dentist, pharmacy, ophthalmic testing, etc. Every British citizen can register in the nearby GP clinic, and any further treatment must be transferred by the fundamental medical service. The second layer mainly refers to the hospitals, including emergency, outpatient service, operative treatment, hospitalized nursing. Etc.
Recently, NHS has corrected SIRT clinic policy probation statement, and therefore mCRC patients and ICC patients can receive the treatment in various professional centers and benefit from the SIR-Spheres therapy.
At present, SIR-Spheres therapy becomes one of the first batch of the medical technology used in the professional centers, and will be comprehensively conducted by “CtE” of NHS England. The “CtE” plan makes the professional centers able to use the services such as SIRT. Although the primary safety and curative effect have been accepted and supported by NICE, the further evidence for the aspect of relevant clinic and cost effectiveness is also needed to support the normal probation.
